Criteria:

The EACD Communications Excellence Award is for a company and its communications team that:

Demonstrates excellence and best practice in communications
Breaks barriers and / or builds bridges through effective communications, contributing to broader society
Operates across Europe (pan-European) or internationally
Demonstrates commitment to the EACD’s principles and values

Who can nominate:
All EACD members may nominate an organisation. Nominated companies do not need to be a member of the EACD to receive this award.

The EACD Communications Leadership Award is for a communicator who:

Has made a significant contribution to / impact on the communications profession
Demonstrates outstanding leadership, pioneering innovation or lifetime achievement on behalf of or in our field. This could include:
- Enhancing the role of communications in their organization
- Advancing the profession through writing, speaking, innovation or teaching
- Enhancing the reputation of the profession
- Introducing new techniques, developed staff or mentored young professionals
Demonstrates commitment to the EACD’s principles and values
Has 20+years of experience

Who can nominate:
Anyone can nominate a communications leader. (EACD members and non-members)
Nominated communicators do not need to be a member of the EACD to receive this award.

The EACD Communications Innovation Award is for a team who demonstrates innovation in an outstanding communications campaign or program

Focused on employee and/or external stakeholders
Clear objectives, outcomes and communications impact
Use of innovative approaches, tools or strategies to develop and implement campaign or program
At least part of the work must have occurred during 2025

Eligibility:
Open to all communicators (EACD members and non-members) and organisations across Europe.

Entry fees:

EACD members: €80
Non-members: €150
