Tomasz is a highly experienced professional with 25 years of experience in urban transport planning, mobility management, mobility awareness campaign, public consultations and parking policy. He holds a Master of Science Engineer degree in Transport Design and Planning from the Cracow University of Technology.
Tomasz has extensive professional experience in the fields of transport, sustainability, and environmental management. He has dedicated his main career period specifically to projects related to public transport development, active mobility promotion, aging society mobility and parking policies development. Recently his main tasks were connected to coordination of the process of SUMP development for metropolitan area of City of Krakow.
Tomasz has experience in transport system planning, urban planning, traffic modelling, air pollution modelling, road and traffic engineering. Specific experience under bicycle network planning and designing. He’s been also a member of team responsible for preparation of Study of Preconditions and Directions of Spatial Development of City of Krakow (2003).
Tomasz has broad experience in management, implementation, dissemination and evaluation of EU-funded projects in the area of sustainable mobility. He’s been Site Coordinator for CIVITAS CARAVEL, CIVITAS CATALIST, AENEAS, TRANSPORT LEARNING (IEE/STEER), CHALLENGE (IEE/STEER), MEDIATE (working group member), PUSH & PULL and PARK4SUMP projects.
He also have been engaged as a member of Advisory Boards of 3 European projects (under Intelligent Energy Europe Programme): BENEFIT, ISEMOA and ACTIVE ACCESS projects.
He’s been speaker or a moderator during international conferences several times (i.e. Civitas Forum in Kaunas 2007, Bologna 2008.) and one of the main organizers of Civitas Forum Conference in Krakow (2009).
