Ronald van der Weerd is a project manager at CROW, the Dutch knowledge platform for infrastructure, traffic, transport, and public space. In his role, he focuses on car and bicycle parking, logistics, and sustainable mobility. With broad experience in mobility and urban development, Ronald works on practical and applicable solutions that help cities and regions strike a balance between accessibility, liveability, and sustainability.

An important part of his work is developing guidelines, checklists, and practical tools that support municipalities, provinces, and market parties in addressing their mobility challenges. Within the field of bicycle parking, he is currently involved in projects dealing with the accommodation of non-standard bicycles, an increasingly relevant issue in many urban areas.

At CROW, Ronald is engaged in several national programmes on parking and logistics, where collaboration between public and private stakeholders plays a central role.
