Frank holds a Master’s degree in civil engineering, micro electronics and telecommunications from KU Leuven, Belgium. Among various work experiences and before joining ERTICO in February 2018, he was an R&D and Innovation manager at Philips Consumer electronics. He worked as product management director for POS Payment terminals at Intellect and at NXP Semiconductors as ‘connected car’ business development director for the BU Automotive. His expertise lies within Connected and Automated Driving, Transport & Logistics and the Mobility Data Space. Frank leads the ERTICO innovation platforms TN-ITS and EAVP (Enhancing Automated Valet Platform). Within NAPCORE he takes the parking ambassador role and he leads SWG4.2 (TN-ITS). Within deployEMDS, he leads WG5.Being a native Belgian, Frank is fluent in French, Dutch, English and speaks some German.
