Philipp Göbels holds a Master of Science in Mathematics with a specialization in statistical methods and has been working as a research associate at Fraunhofer IAO KODIS since 2021. At the same time, he is pursuing a doctorate at the Ruhr University Bochum at the faculty of computer science.
His research focuses on the development of AI-based services, with a particular specialization in intelligent parking management systems. At Bildungscampus Heilbronn, he successfully developed AI prediction models for forecasting parking space utilization, enabling optimized parking space utilization and improved user guidance. These models consider complex factors such as times of day, event calendars, and weather influences.
