Wouter Steenstra (born November 6, 1988) lives in Delft, the Netherlands, and has been working with parking data for nearly a decade. After graduating in Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 2015, he started his career as a data analyst at Spark Parkeren, where he focused on analyzing mobility and parking solutions.

Since 2018, Wouter has been part of Monit Data. In his role, he helps around 40 Dutch municipalities, public organizations, and several international clients make better use of their parking data. Together with his team, he develops software to collect and process data from many different sources, and to turn it into clear reports and dashboards. This enables cities and organizations to gain practical insights, improve parking management, and support mobility policy with reliable information.

What drives Wouter is making complex data understandable and useful for everyday decision-making. He believes that the real value of data lies in helping people—whether city planners, operators, or policymakers—work smarter and solve real-world challenges.
