Jeanette van Eijk joined Greenwheels in the summer of 2023 as Public Affairs manager. In this role she engages in discussions with local, national and European administrations about s policy domains affecting car sharing. Such as urban development and parking standards, the decarbonising of shared car fleets, data sharing and fiscal policies.

Greenwheels was founded in 1995 by two university friends. Nowadays its 3.000 station-based cars can be found in 160 municipalities and nearby 185 train stations. Its mission is to provide a sustainable alternative to car ownership, as sharing cars creates space for more liveable streets and neighborhoods.
