Alex Pazuchanics is the Director of Mobility Insights at Vianova, where he helps cities meet their mobility challenges through creative use of data and policy.
Vianova works with more than 60 cities across the world including London, Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, and Brisbane to promote and manage emerging forms of transportation such as shared mobility, electric vehicles, and sustainable freight and logistics. In his role, Alex has successfully spearheaded Vianova’s involvement in multiple Horizon Europe projects and competitive tenders, as well as serving as the nexus between product development, client success, and technical delivery.
Prior to moving to Paris in 2021, he was the Mobility Solutions Manager for the City of Seattle, where he managed sustainable, shared, electric, and autonomous mobility programs in one of the fastest growing and most innovative cities in the United States. He is also the former Assistant Director for Policy, Planning, and Permitting at the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, and the lead author of Pittsburgh’s Smart City Vision: “SmartPGH”. He has served in the offices of multiple elected officials, including as Policy Advisor to former Pittsburgh mayor William Peduto.
Alex is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he has also served as adjunct faculty, and The George Washington University.
