Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) is a rapidly evolving field, driven by a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders, including research institutes, universities, automotive suppliers, and European representation associations. While these actors dominate the European CCAM landscape, national alliances have emerged in recent years to accelerate progress. Countries like Austria and Sweden have developed their own ecosystems, fostering collaboration across sectors to set priorities for research, development, and implementation. However, the scaling and deployment of CCAM in Europe require stronger alignment and synergies between national and European initiatives. This session will explore the European CCAM stakeholder ecosystem, including insights from the FAME project’s mapping efforts, and examine the strategies and status of national alliances in Austria and Sweden. Finally, broader European initiatives will be presented, emphasizing holistic developments and opportunities for integration. A dynamic panel discussion will follow, focusing on strategies to strengthen collaboration between national alliances and European-level initiatives such as the CCAM Partnership. The discussion will highlight common building blocks, synergies, and actionable pathways for deeper integration, ultimately driving a more cohesive and effective European CCAM deployment. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the CCAM landscape and collaborative strategies for advancing the future of automated mobility in Europe.
