As CCAM reshapes the present and future of mobility, ensuring inclusivity and equity becomes paramount. Experiences from the panellists from around the world on ongoing CCAM initiatives impacting citizens’ lives, will provide key insights into how participatory and behavioural approaches can place human needs at the centre of technological advancement. The discussion will explore innovative strategies for co-designing mobility solutions, emphasising the voices of traditionally under-represented groups (e.g., tech-adverse people, elderly, etc.). It will highlight real-world examples of CCAM involving participatory approaches that bridge the gap between technology and societal needs. Behavioural insights will also take centre stage, understanding how user preferences, cultural and geographical factors, habits, and barriers can drive equitable access to CCAM technologies.
