After a period working on logistics in a private company, in 2002 became member of the staff at the General Directorate for Traffic (DGT). Since that time has had different roles in the organization.
Currently, Associated Deputy Director for Traffic with the following responsibilities:
Strategic planning on mobility digitalization and ITS systems and service deployment in Spain.
Strategic follow up of infrastructure measures for road safety.
Coordination procedures of the operation and maintenance of the Traffic Management Centers in Spain.
National coordinator of European Projects.
Former Co-chair at the eCall European Implementation Platform
