Civil Engineer and public official of the Higher Scale of Traffic Technicians of the Ministry of Interior. She has developed her entire professional career so far in the field of roads (conservation and operation) and traffic management, mobility and road safety. At the beginning, in the road service of the Diputación de Córdoba and for 15 years as Director of the Traffic Management Center of the DGT at the Southwest área, performing tasks of project drafting and Works Management of ITS systems installations and maintenance for the DGT including singular elements, such as reversible lanes. Since 2015, she has held the position of Provincial Traffic Chief of Seville, also acting as coordinator of the Provincial Headquarters of Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla. She has participated in numerous national and international working groups and institutions on mobility and road safety: OECD, European Commission, being president of EU Euro-regional projects. For the last 5 years she has been actively involved in the World Road Association, PIARC as secretary/Chair of the working groups on connected vehicles and autonomous vehicles, as well as on the new forms of mobility that are emerging. She has been distinguished with various awards and decorations from different administrations, groups and institutions.
