Speaker Bio
Eduardo Sánchez González holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universitat d'Alacant and an MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University. He currently works as a Transport Modelling Engineer at CPS, where he applies a combination of advanced technical skills, international experience and specialisation in macro and microscopic transport modelling.
During his time at university, he completed specialised courses in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with software such as ArcGIS and QGIS, as well as training in Autodesk's Infraworks 360 and REVIT Architecture, consolidating a comprehensive technology base geared towards civil and urban engineering.
He began his professional career in the United Kingdom, as a Transport Engineer at Pick Everard, where for three years he led impact studies on infrastructure and mobility projects. He also acquired experience in the use of TRL Junctions, including ARCADY and PICADY, for the analysis of roundabouts and junctions.
Throughout his career, he has worked in the design, execution and analysis of mobility and demand studies in several cities in Spain and Latin America. In addition, he has designed, carried out and exploited surveys for technical studies of public and private transport demand.
His profile is characterised by a solid technical background, advanced analytical skills and mastery of specialised tools such as Aimsun Next, PTV Visum/VISSIM/Viswalk, LinSig, TRL Junctions and CUBE. He is also experienced in the use of programming languages such as Python, R and SQL applied to mobility analysis, both in the framework of traffic modelling and in the processing, visualisation and exploitation of large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Eduardo represents a new generation of transport engineers with systemic vision, technological mastery and commitment to sustainable and intelligent planning of urban and regional mobility.
