George Christou is a Project Manager at ERTICO – ITS Europe, where he contributes to projects focused on intelligent transport systems, Transport, Logistics and mobility innovation. Since joining ERTICO in June 2024, he has managed and contributed to European-level initiatives that advance digital transformation in transport, particularly in areas such as data-driven mobility, smart infrastructure and connectivity.
With over ten years of experience in transport innovation and a strong academic background-holding an MBA, an MSc in Spatio-Temporal Analytics and Big Data Mining, and a BEng in Geo-Information Engineering-George bridges the gap between research and industry. His expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis supports ERTICO’s mission to foster smarter, safer, and more efficient transport systems across Europe.
