Francesco Valentini received the master degree in Electronic Engineering in 2010 at the University of L'Aquila. In 2012 completed a specialisation in "Networking and Multiservice IP Networks" obtaining both Associate and Professional level Cisco certifications. Since 2014 he is a certified instructor for the Cisco Networking Academy at the University of L'Aquila. In 2016 he received the PhD in Information Engineering and Computer Science and since 2017 he his adjunct professor for the master course of "Advanced and Software Defined Networks" being also co-advisor for many master thesis. As postdoctoral researcher he was involved in the Italian 5G pre-commercial trials for the evolved mobility and participated in national and international projects for V2X, satellite communications and cybersecurity topics.

He is currently employed as project manager in Radiolabs (Italy) and is the lead of the automotive business area both for the cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM) and systems validation.
