Date & Time

Description

This interactive session explores Europe's largest live connected public-private mobility ecosystem. Discover its immense potential, how it already serves millions of road users, and how it’s open to all in a wide range of modes, to systems and road users. Learn how the collaboration between public and private sectors drives business opportunities while delivering valuable societal benefits. This thriving ecosystem spans two countries, with well-constructed governance, standards, testing, and certification, and a transparent split between private and public actors. Navigation apps, including key players like Waze and Automakers such as KIA, are poised to become even more integrated, further enhancing the ecosystem's ability to deliver real-time data and support seamless mobility solutions for users and businesses. The seasoned speakers represent the full spectrum of the ITS ecosystem, including authorities from The Netherlands and Flanders (Belgium), leading ITS solution providers, service providers, and automaker KIA. We will use an interactive set-up to share insights and practical lessons from years of hard work and dedication. Topics include governance, use cases, benefits, data quality control, test and certification processes, business models, and the approach to connecting road users.
