With the increase of mobility services, increasing numbers of autonomous driving vehicles (cars, buses, shuttles, boats) and new technological developments in collecting and analyzing data, more and more opportunities emerge to use the collected data for public, private and commercial use. Which different use cases and pilot projects are currently running in different European cities and regions? Which projects are being planned? What are the challenges different entities (both public and private side) are encountering? How well do Mobility Data Spaces that have been set up function and in how far do they contribute to the development of new services and / or business ideas? These are some of the questions we would like to address in our session, composed of leading experts from Helsinki, Berlin and Madrid. Under the coordination of EMT MADRID (Madrid PTO), these experts from research, business and public service come together to discuss their visions, innovations and projects. The goal of the session is to present a singular insight into the variety of innovative solutions all over Europe, from North to South, showing highlights in clean, resilient and connected mobility. This session will be organized as a panel discussion including short initial statements followed by a discussion between the speakers on their approaches to current and upcoming challenges, lessons learned, visions and steps towards realizing them. Similarities and differences will be discussed and ways to learn from each other identified. Questions from the audience will be enabled. Each panelist will wrap up the discussion with a final statement to summarize their main ideas.
