Carme Fabregas is the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at the Metropolitan Transport Authority of the Barcelona Area (ATM).
With over two decades of experience in the public transport sector she’s been serving in different areas of competence and responsibility, mainly involving the fields of ticketing and integrated fare management, fleet monitoring systems, and real-time data information systems.
At current times, being involved in the digital transformation of mobility through fostering the applicability of Data Spaces as a tangible spearhead.
Participant to renowned international organisations in the field of mobility innovation at a BoD level, among which the Smart Ticketing Alliance (STA), as vice-chair, and MaaS Alliance are amongst the most representatives.
