In 2023, Dr. Eusebiu Catana received the European Innovation Award in Brussels for his contributions to digital transformation in the transportation industry. He was also honoured with the ICTStand 2023 Award by the European Commission for his role in the global development of ICT standards and has been also awarded the 2024 IPv6 Hall of Fame. In 2002, he was awarded the Best Award for ITS Project Development Platform by the European IT industry in Munich.Additionally, Dr. Catana contributes to the EU Horizon O-CEI Project, which accelerates the adoption and scaling of Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions, enhances strategic autonomy, promotes multi-sided marketplaces, and supports open standards for virtualization and interoperability in CCAM.
