Erzsébet Földesi is a disability activist and expert in universal design with nearly twenty years of experience advocating for the rights of people with disabilities. She furthered her education with a postgraduate degree in rehabilitation environmental planning. Erzsébet's advocacy journey was active on local, national and European level. She has held various leadership roles in the disability community, including serving as board member and president of Hungary's first cross-disability organization and as board member and vice president of the European Disability Forum.
Erzsébet is affiliated with the Budapest Association of Persons with Disabilities (MBE), where she served as president for 16 years and is now the honorary president. For the past decade, MBE has partnered on European Union-funded projects with Erzsébet as the leading expert. Dedicated to promoting inclusivity and accessibility, reflecting her belief in a universally designed future that benefits everyone.
