As cities strive to become more inclusive, this interactive session explores how planning tools and assistive technologies can support accessibility for all. The session will begin with short presentations from InclusiveSpaces, AMIGOS (MBE), and SPINE, highlighting tools and approaches focused on inclusivity, including assistive technology developed by TOBEA. The second part will engage the audience in a hands-on workshop, starting with an interactive Slido ice-breaker to reflect on the current state of accessibility in participants’ cities. NTUA will present a digital tool supporting inclusive planning, followed by an open discussion using Slido and open mic contributions. A Challenge Clinic will guide participants to frame real-life accessibility challenges—such as standardization or scalability—then collaboratively brainstorm, refine, and shape solutions. The session will draw from the InclusiveSpaces project while opening the floor to broader experiences and initiatives, ensuring a rich exchange of ideas to co-create actionable, people-centered solutions for more accessible and sustainable urban environments.
