Ronald Jorna is a self-employed consultant. In his long career he has always worked in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems. First in road freight transport, later in traffic management and in the more recent years also in cycling. He has worked on more than 30 EU funded projects in Horizon, Interreg and CEF. On behalf of the Province of Overijssel he was appointed project manager of the Bicycles and ITS (BITS) project (2019-2023) and its successor MegaBITS (2023-2026).
