Outline: 

Interactive workshop, followed by Q&A, with the members of the EPA EVs & Fire Safety Working Group (WG) to discuss practical cases where EV charging infrastructure has been realized and how the various related aspects around fire safety have been dealt with. Projects presented will relate to existing car parks of EPA member operators/ municipalities. In this context, the recommendations provided through the EPA Fire Safety Advice Toolbox, local legislation and the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) will be addressed. Topics that will be presented include charging infrastructure, insights, best practices and fire safety mitigation measures.
