Jørgen Wanscher is co-founder and CTO of Hermes Traffic Intelligence. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Operations Research. He has worked with data driven decision support for traffic for more than 15 years and has extensive experience in expert systems, knowledge dissemination, structured learning and productization of advanced algorithms. The last five years have primarily been focused on data on cycling, railway risk mitigation, and software reliability engineering. He is an active member of the CIE Connected Cycling and ITS working group, the ERTICO TM2.0 taskforce on AI, and the MaaS Alliance technology and standards working group.
